The Friends of SHS Alumni and its Partners in its
sole discretion may terminate this User Agreement, access to the site,
the services, or any current auctions immediately, without notice and
for any reason.
We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions of the User Agreement
at any time.

I. General Policies and Procedures
A. Who is Eligible?
In order to participate, you must register, supplying us with a verifiable
name, address, phone number and email address.
Since this site offers a semi-public forum, our services are not available
to you if you are under the age of 18. The Association and its Partners are
allowed, at its sole discretion, to refuse a member from participating in any
of its services at any time and for any reason.
B. What is Friends of SHS Alumni?
The Friends of SHS Alumni was founded to facilitate communication
between SHS alumni.
C. For Your Protection
As a general rule, you should always use caution when placing personal information
online. The Association has no way of guaranteeing that each user is who they
are representing themselves to be. However, because we want our users to feel
safe and secure while on this site, we provide different levels of security,
which involves a payment and review process at certain levels. This process
is managed by the hardworking Association Administrators and is not error-free.
If any illegal activity occurs on this site, The Association reserves the right
to restrict access to the site or take whatever precautions we deem necessary
to maintain the safety of our services. Although it is prohibited to give false,
offensive, harmful or deceptive information, we cannot take responsibility
for it if it does occur.
D. System Integrity
To protect the security of our system, you agree not to interfere or attempt
to interfere with the proper workings of this site. Any device, software or
routine used to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of
the site is considered illegal. Any communication and information provided
by you will be free of any viruses, time bombs, cancel bots, Trojan Horses,
worms or any other programming device intended to interfere with or intercept
any system, data, or personal information on this site. You may not take any
action that imposes an unreasonably large load on our infrastructure. Under
no circumstances should you disclose your password or any other of your personal
information to anyone. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality
of your password or any other of your personal information. You will be responsible
for any and all activities occurring under your username. If you are aware
of any unauthorized use of your username and/or password, contact The Association
immediately.
E. Applicable Laws
You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations
in your use of this site's services.
F. Notices
The address and information that is given to the Association during the registration
process may be used to send our members notices through emails, regular mail
or certified mail, postage prepaid and return receipt requested. Email will
be thought of as received after 24 hours, unless the sending party receives
notification that the email is incorrect or invalid. Regular mail will be thought
of as received as of 3 days after the postage date. The Association may also
give notice of changes to the this Agreement by posting notices or announcements
at SHSgrads.net.
G. Breach of Contract
If you breach this agreement or any of its attachments, if any information
provided by you is incomplete or inaccurate, or if the Association believes
you have acted inconsistently with the spirit of the letter of this agreement,
the Association retains the right to terminate your rights to use the service.
You agree, as a member of the service and in your use of the service, not to
use a false or misleading name or a name that you are not authorized to use.
Fraudulent supplication of member information will be prosecuted to the fullest
extent to the law.
The Association will cooperate with local, state and federal law enforcement
agencies in enforcement actions. Without limiting other remedies, The Association
will suspend or terminate your account if you are found to have engaged in
fraudulent activity or repeatedly infringing third party intellectual property
rights.
II. Fees
Membership in the Association is free of charge to all SHS alumni and staff.
III. Privacy and Use of Information
A. Privacy Statement
The Association has a current Privacy
Policy that covers in detail the use of your information (such as name,
email address, address, etc.) and is incorporated herein by reference. The
Association and it Partners will not share any of your user information with
other parties or disseminate to outside parties the private information entered
by you. This information includes any information provided to us or to another
member for purposes of registration, bidding, listing and any public message
or email system.
B. Member's Responsibilities
In order to maintain our integrity and minimize any liabilities with our ISP
or other suppliers, we may take any action we deem necessary to protect these
relationships. By being a member of our community, you are liable for all the
information provided by you.
You may not:
Be defamatory, trade libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing.
Infringe any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy.
Violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation.
Be obscene or place within, or link to our site any pornography or other immoral information.
III. DisclaimersA. No Warranty
USER EXPRESSLY AGREES THAT USE OF THE ASSOCIATIONS SERVICES IS ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, SOLELY AT THE MEMBER'S RISK, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED ON THE PART OF THE ASSOCIATION AND ITS PARTNERS. THE ASSOCIATION EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
THE ASSOCIATION AND ITS PARTNERS MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR FREE; NOR DOES THE ASSOCIATION MAKE ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE OR AS TO THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE OR THAT DEFECTS IN THE SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED.
THE ASSOCIATION MAKES NO WARRANTY REGARDING ANY GOODS OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE OR ANY TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH THE SERVICE.
NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY MEMBER FROM THE ASSOCIATION OR THROUGH THE SITE SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY MADE HEREIN.
B. Limit of Liability
THE ASSOCIATION AND ITS PARTNERS SHALL IN NO WAY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH THE SERVICE OR RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF MEMBER'S TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE, EVEN IF THE ASSOCIATION OR ITS PARTNERS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
C. Termination
The Association in its sole discretion, may terminate this User Agreement, access to the site or the services immediately, without any notice and for any reason.
D. Promotions and Advertising
The Association will assume no liability, obligation, or responsibility for a member's participation or correspondence with advertisers (if and when Advertising is allowed) showing their products or services on our site. The terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such participation or correspondence are solely between the member and the corresponding advertiser or promotional company.
E. No Agency
No agency, partnership, joint venture, employer-employee, or franchiser-franchisee relationship is intended or created by this agreement between The Association and its users.
